Some Fun Facts About Me:

- Summer is my favorite season
- My proudest garden moment was in 2020 when I grew a watermelon in my little raised bed. It was my first try at a garden and I was amazed at how well it did. And that watermelon was delicious ya’ll!
- Without doing it on purpose, every car I have owned has been the same shade of beige.
- Christmas is my favorite holiday.
- I LOVE to bake
Mattie Jean Creations pays homage to my grandmothers. Some of my favorite memories of my grandmothers were in the kitchen. Their biscuits and peach cobbler were drool-worthy and highly sought after. Now as an adult, I feel most at peace in the kitchen. To create the website name, I took the first name of one grandmother, and the middle name of the other and mashed them together. Clever huh?
